My first blog skip. This card was inspired by the Clean and Simple Card class at Online Card Classes.com.
One of my cards for the Armed Forces Day Blog Skip. I love the eagle.
My card for the Memorial Day Blog Hop. I used a Bonus sketch and colored the image with Copics.
Sketch #34 for the Be A Rebel VCMP. I love the bear and the Out of the Box die cut.
Cards I made with a Simon Says Stamp Monthly Card kit. The top one I CASE'd from a card in one of the Online Card Classes and the chevron card I used the scraps from my card kit papers.
These cards I made during the Labor Day VCMP. I love the Triple Time stamping on the last one and want to do more of that in the future. I love elegant look of the top card with the 3 ribbons.
Sketch #147. I had the honor of making the samples for this sketch and this was my favorite of the 3 cards.

Happy New Year! I like the eagle for its bold design. You did a great job coloring the bear. And my favorite because I love how you used scraps is the chevron.

ReplyDeleteGreat cards, it's so fun to look through them I recognize several Bug A Boo stamps images. I love the triple time stamping technique too, I think using a beautiful patterned paper instead of stamping might be fun too.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Beth, this is a fabulous collection of cards! Love the paper choices on the "Thanks" card. That really makes those flowers pop on the card. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful collection you chose. My favorite is the very first one. I like everything about it. The stamps you chose, the colors and the clean look of it. I look forward to seeing more of your cards in the future Beth
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards! I love the chevron card. Thanks for sharing! Pat kinkaid
ReplyDeleteSuch nice cards! I love the chevron too. The Triple Time with the leaves is my fave tho! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth! Great collection of cards! I definitely see some of my favorites from visiting your blog. I love the colors you use and the images are so cute.
ReplyDeleteAbout your comment on my blog about shading images in PSE, I use the magic wand and the burn tool to darken areas on the image. I use the dodge tool sometimes, but it can kind of turn the color grey. I also turn down the exposure level to about 30-35% so I have to kind of scrub the burn in - it keeps me from darkening the image too quickly. Also the different brushes can be used with the burn tool and I like to use the watercolor brush because it doesn't concentrate the color too much. (The magic wand will keep what you do confined to just the area you are working on.) Well, I hope that makes sense. It's pretty easy to do, though it may sound a bit complex.
Have a great New Year!
I love your ship card! Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteThe Missing U stamp is from one of the Hero Arts OWH fundraiser sets.
DeleteGreat cards Beth! I am so glad that you have continued to create for OWH despite all of the craziness of moving and all of that goes with it.
ReplyDeleteThe chevron card is genius - I would never have thought to do that on my own but am surely tempted to give it a go now! I love that particular eagle image as well, it's so striking and you did a beautiful job with it.
