OWH BIrthday Bash - Lawn Fawn week

This month is Operation Write Home's birthday celebration.  This week we are partnered with Lawn Fawn and both blogs are showing lots of kids cards and jokes. There are also several challenges for different cards.

Sketch #136

I made this card for Sketch #136.  I turned it on its side and added the snowflakes in glossy white paper.

Bonus Sketch
This is Monday's bonus sketch.  I like the sketch and I can see using it a lot.  The stamp is from Raisin Boat and their Snow Animals set.  I haven't colored snowmen before so I looked up a couple of Sandy's tutorials and practiced on a couple before I felt comfortable with my shading.

Glitter card.
I don't have glitter around because it isn't safe to put on OWH cards.  The glitter can get on uniforms and our heros could be seen by night vision goggles.  I bought some paper online and didn't realize it had glitter on it until I got it but I did test it to be sure it was safely sealed and wouldn't rub off.  This is one of the Bugaboo images I colored with Copics. The sentiment is Hero Arts.

Midweek Challenge
This week's challenge is for a kids card with scallops.  I used Sketch #73 and a punched border a friend gave me.

The images and sentiments are from the Snow Animals by Raisin Boat. The paper is from a 6x6 pad of Christmas paper and the white card stock is embossed to make it more wintery.

Here is another card I made with the glitter paper. This is another Bugaboo image and sentiment that I colored with Copics.

  1. Cute group of cards. I love using snowmen in my OWH cards too. That 'Snow Much Fun" sentiment is so cute!
