Mother's Day Cards

Here are some of the Mother's Day cards I made to send to OWH.  They were sent before the deadline but I have been really slow getting them posted on my blog.

 These 2 cards were made with paper that was donated to me.

These cards have a detachable bookmark inside that the Moms can use for their books.

 I made some herringbone backgrounds with scraps that I used for these cards.  I embossed the Mother saying in different colors of embossing powder to see how it would work.  I really liked the effect of the embossing powder that was 2 toned the best.
