Father's Day Cards
Here are some of the Father's Day cards I will be sending to OWH this month. The first seven cards I used papers from the Simon Says March Card kit. I used a technique I learned from Sandy on the OWH cruise. I cut heavy card stock into quarters. Then I cut lighter wt. card stock into 8" by 5 1/4" inch pieces and folded them in half. I glued the designer paper that was cut 4" by 5 1/4" onto one side of that light wt. card stock and glued the other side of the card stock to the heavy card stock quarter. It looks like a mat for the paper and is nice and sturdy for them to write on.
The other cards have paper from a couple of BoBunny 6x6 packs that I got because the papers could be used for masculine cards. I used some digital images and some Tim Holtz stamps.

Very nice group of cards! I looked at a set of stamps today with a big wheel bike. I passed and bought a cowboy boot. Lol. I like your bike card. I may have to get that set
ReplyDeleteWow, Beth! These are great! My favorite are the ship cards but that's just me. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you're posting to your blog and then putting the link on the OWH Facebook page!
See you soon,
Lisa
Wow, Beth! They're all so great! I especially love how different the ships look depending on what paper you used! I've just found some ship and car stamps and can't wait to use them. Thanks for posting on my blog and I'm so delighted you enjoy my books! You've also made me feel like a major card underachiever, lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent set of cards! Each one is terrific. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
