Here is my card.
My image is Snowman Hugs from Stampers Best. I love their variety of snowman stamps.
I created the red Faux Leather die with masking tape then covered it in Barn Red Distress Ink and embossed it. Tutorial is here. I cut it out with the Tim Holtz Ornamental die. The sentiment is Hero Arts.

ReplyDeleteThis card just jumped out at me. I love it. It is so bright and bold. I love all the techniques you used, however the stamped image is still the star of the show, which is not easily accomplished. Fantastic work!

I love the bright colors you chose for your card; they're so cheery! Thanks for reminding me of the faux leather technique. I tried it once back in the spring and haven't done it since. It's on my list!
ReplyDeletewow, that faux leather piece is interesting! I don't have a die cutting machine (except Cricut) so haven't tried out this sketch...no way to do the die cut piece. Yours is great and I especially like the snowman stamp...whimsical!
